Progress Update

Hi everyone. I apologize for the lack of activity coming from our group in the past months. Everyone just got so involved in school (I know I did) that we're a bit slacking in our subbing progress. Don't worry, we're still working on them, it's just going a lot slower now that school is in progress. We're trying out best to juggle everything, but please keep in mind we can only do so much. So thank you for patiently waiting!

As for the website, I put up a new layout! I'm learning new and fun website design techniques in class, and I was trying them out on this site! I like this a lot better than the first look I had originally done. This is sooooo much cleaner, me like.. =)

[CB Tutorial] How To Download

Here's the second part of the CB tutorial as promised. After this tutorial, you should be able to join clubboxes and add items to your clubbox queue. After that, it's up to the fates whether your downloads start. ;) Ok, it's not really that bad, but really, you never know what will start downloading. (Note: Some clubbox owners have it set so that even if you join a box, you may not be able to download. You may need to be approved or have a PIN #. If that happens, you may not be able to see the files at all or you may not be able to download.)

STEP 1:
Go to the clubbox that you want to download from. In the example, I'm using ours, of course. At the top of the page, there are two boxes for your screenname and password. Type those in. Then click the button circled in pink. After you do this, the page will reload.



STEP 2:
Next, click the words indicated by the arrow to join the clubbox.


STEP 3:
Next, a small window will pop up. There's only one button to click.



STEP 4:
After you do that, a box will pop up. As you can see, my computer doesn't recognize the font, so it's a bunch of gobblygook. Anyways, click the 'OK' button.



STEP 5:
Now you should have successfully joined the clubbox. At this time, you can choose what you want to download. First click the box next to the items you want. Then click the button circled in pink. It's the one with the light blue arrow.



STEP 6:
Another window will open up. This confirms what you want added to your queue. Click the button circled in pink to confirm.



STEP 7:
Then another window pops up for a short time. Do NOT close that window. It will disappear and your clubbox will start up. (There's no screenshot of it because it disappears pretty fast.) The first time you use clubbox, you will have to download the program. It is usually automatic, but if it doesn't ask you to download, here's the link to get the clubbox program. When the clubbox program starts up, click on the file to highlight it, and then click the start button. That's it!

If for some reason that last window does not disappear and your clubbox program does not start up, there may be something wrong with your settings. Here's a link to JEM's instructions, including a picture of the ActiveX settings that should work. Please change your settings and try again.

[CB Tutorial] How To Get ID/PW

I know that some people have expressed frustration with clubbox, mainly the fact that it's in Korean, which a lot of us don't understand. However, it's quite simple to use once you know where to click. So this is the first of a two-part tutorial about common clubbox issues. After you go through all these steps, you should have a user name and password that you can use to sign in and join our clubbox as well as any other clubbox you want. (Sorry about the poor image skills.)

STEP 1:
Open Internet Explorer and go to this page.
It should look like this.



STEP 2:
After you click on the button in the pink circle you'll be brought to this page.



STEP 3:
Ok, keep going. I think you get it by now...just keep clicking the areas circled in pink.



STEP 4:
Ok, so now it gets complicated. Please read carefully and enter the required info. I've made this picture extra big so hopefully you can read it. (But you can always click on any of these picture for the full-size version.)



STEP 5:
Ok, that's it. If all your information was accepted, then you should be good. You need to click the box and then click on the button at the bottom.



That's it! You should now have an account and it takes you back to the main clubbox page. You can now go to any clubbox and sign in with your ID/PW.
